Girls Inc is a national nonprofit which serves girls ages 6-18 at more than 1,500 sites in 350 cities across the United States and Canada. Their research-based programming is delivered by trained professionals who focus on the development of the whole girl, supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming, pro-girl environment. These programs offer research-based approaches which help girls navigate social, economic and gender barriers to be healthy, confident girls. Project Biodiversify is an amazing website that offers teaching materials and methods aimed at increasing diversity in science teaching.
