The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) aims to support students across STEM fields, particularly students from underrepresented groups, who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in the US. This competitive fellowship offers a 3 year stipend and values research experience as well as contributing to society as a whole. See link below for eligibility and more information.
The 500 Women Scientists "Fellowship for the Future" is specifically for women of color in STEM fields. This fellowship is awarded to women of color who are leading current projects or launching new ones in line with the organization’s mission: "Making science more open, inclusive, and accessible." In addition to supporting awardees' projects, this fellowship provides lots of exciting opportunities!

This is an amazing fellowship for students who value diversity and are likely to value the diversity of the human experience in their teaching and scholarly activities. This fellowship prioritizes the following groups whose underrepresentation in the American professoriate has been severe and longstanding: Black, Native American, Mexican Americans, Alaskan Natives and Puerto Ricans.
The National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship is a competitive, portable fellowship that is awarded to U.S. citizens and nationals who intend to pursue a PhD in one of fifteen fields. (See website below.) The mission is to increase the number of citizens trained in science and engineering. Most STEM fields are represented on this list and the fellowship provides three years of funding.
The Fulbright US Program offers STEM and Public Health grants at universities around the world. Fulbright also offers graduate ansd undergraduate funding for different projects. Applicants have to write a proposal outlining the research they would do at the host institutions with the potential for all research and travel costs paid for!
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage. This scholarship is eligible for high school seniors, undergraduate students and graduate students! Awards range from $500 to $5,000 based on relative need. Emphasis is on students pursuing STEM fields!
