CV versus Resume

What is the difference between a CV and Resume?

Whether you are readying for graduate school applications or applying to jobs after school, you may often be asked for a curriculum vitae or CV. Whereas a resume predominantly shares all of your work experience, a CV is a curated specifically to highlight your academic, research, work, special skills, scholarships or funding awards and extra-curricular experience. The two also differ in length and format; it is generally a good idea to have both on hand. Here is a CV template you can use to get an idea of a preferred layout and information to include. The order is also important, so take a look!
